      • A postcard should highlight 1–2 main points only.

      • Use simple language that communicates urgency without being overwhelming.

    3. Center Core Values

      • Emphasize free expression as a cornerstone of democracy.

      • Connect the legislation to widely shared values like fairness, access to information, and protecting the rights of all people.

    4. Localize the Message

      • Show why this bill matters in Massachusetts communities specifically.

      • Mention local libraries, schools, or cultural spaces that benefit from protections for expression.

    5. Provide a Call to Action

      • Ask directly: “Please support and pass H.3594/S.2328.”

      • End with gratitude for the legislator’s time and service.
